Salewa Vioz Ptx/Ptc Wo Alpha M Jkt jacket 28040-0910 Properties: Vioz provides breathable insulation and adjustable comfort in a sporty fit for changing conditions and mountain activities in the fall and winter. First, the exceptionally breathable 2.5-layer shell fabric (water column: 10,000 mm, MVTR: 40,000 g/m²/24h) provides reliable weather protection and enables a weight-saving design. We give it a PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) finish and welded seams. What truly sets this jacket apart is its hybrid Polartec® Alpha® Direct wool blend insulation, exclusive to SALEWA®. Its lofted fibers are bonded to a robust mesh core, releasing excess body heat before it builds up, causing saturation and discomfort. We strategically place it beneath the mesh lining on the front, back, and upper sleeves. The added wool content provides even greater levels of thermoregulation and comfort. For added protection, the Vioz features a collar with an integrated hood that fastens up to the chin, and an insulated hood with an elasticated front opening. It also features a zippered chest pocket, ergonomic sleeves and cuffs with stretch edges, and a drawcord hem adjustment system to keep the wind out.
